Change Agents of Arizona (formerly Change Agents of Phoenix) is an invitation only recognition experience that honors a small, carefully selected group of Arizona real estate professionals who lead with integrity, uplift their communities, and build a legacy of service beyond sales.

More than an award, it's a cultural shift, driven by agents who turn purpose into action.

Tim McBride, a trusted Arizona real estate professional with a background in the sports and entertainment industry, founded Change Agents of Arizona inspired by the legacy of Walter Payton of the Chicago Bears. Payton is the namesake of the NFL's most respected honor, the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, which recognizes athletes not just for their performance, but for their service, humility, and character.

In that same spirit, Change Agents celebrates real estate professionals who lead with purpose, give back generously, and use their business to create lasting impact.

The inaugural event was held in October 2024 in Paradise Valley. Since then, we've celebrated our 2025 class of honorees and are now looking ahead to our 2026 class, continuing a movement that's reshaping what success looks like in real estate.

As in past years, the evening will open with a cocktail reception, followed by a program featuring remarks from Founder Tim McBride and special guests from the sports world and Arizona's business community. The night's centerpiece is the spotlight on this year's three honorees, sharing their stories and the reason behind their commitment to giving back.

It's an evening designed to inspire, one that showcases what purpose-driven leadership truly looks like, and a collegial gathering of real estate professionals from across Arizona, representing a wide range of firms, all coming together to celebrate values, vision, and community impact.

Each year, three real estate professionals are honored, not just for what they do, but for who they are and how they lead.

Selection is based on:

• A demonstrated commitment to service and consistent community impact

• Leadership marked by humility, generosity, and purpose

• A proven track record of using their business and platform to uplift others

• Active, full time professionals who are consistently doing deals and engaged in the industry

• Residency in Arizona

• An active presence on social media to amplify positive influence

• A personal or professional reference who can speak to their character and impact

This isn't an award you apply for. It's a recognition of values in action, earned by those already showing up with intention and making a difference every day.

Honorees are nominated by past recipients, respected peers, event partners, board members, and trusted community leaders.

From there, a small, values driven selection committee thoughtfully reviews each nomination, meets with the nominees, and selects the three individuals who best embody what it means to be a Change Agent: leaders who genuinely use their business as a platform for service, purpose, and lasting impact.

Yes. Nominations are open to anyone who knows a real estate professional making a meaningful difference through service, leadership, and values driven work.

Self nominations are welcome but must include a brief endorsement from someone who can speak to the nominee's character and impact.

This year's three honorees will be announced following the completion of all nominee interviews. At that time, each will have the opportunity to invite members of their community to attend the event, with complimentary tickets available for family or special guests.

• Partner with or sponsor our annual event to help it grow and reach more people

• Support the nonprofits selected by our honorees

• Share the stories and mission of Change Agents with your network

Whether you're amplifying the message or contributing behind the scenes, your involvement helps build something bigger than all of us.

Proceeds are distributed through the Homes for Good Foundation to nonprofit organizations personally selected by each Change Agent honoree.

No overhead. No ego. Just action, impact, and real support for the causes that matter most.

2025 was our first year of fundraising, raised entirely through ticket sales. That year, the event raised $12,000 for the causes chosen by our honorees.

In 2026, we're introducing additional, creative ways to fundraise, all designed to deepen the impact without taking away from what makes this evening special: a night of celebration, not a solicitation.

Yes. As in 2025, a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase, with proceeds directly supporting the nonprofit organizations selected by this year's honorees.

Ticket pricing and the new fundraising opportunities for 2026 are being finalized and will be announced soon.
